Here is your invitation to KBFC's annual
Bermagui week of fishing, fun and frivolities.

Our game anglers will be fishing for Shark, Marlin and Tuna.  This year we are also going to run a non-game event for all our fresh and estuary anglers. There is some fantastic fishing to be had in the lake systems in the area or you can go chase Bass in Brogo Dam. Wilson Tackle have kindly put up prizes for this event.

Entry Fees cover event costs and food for 3 evening meals.
Game Anglers: $90
Non-Game Anglers & Non-anglers: $65
Intermediate or Junior Anglers: Free

Shirts:  Both Team Members and Team Managers can order and pay for their own shirts on-line.  Bermagui 2020 offers $58 for a set of Game and Team fishing shirts.  Please go to the merchandise tab of the KBFC web site to order and pay for your bermagui shirts.

Participant Declaration and Release and Indemnity
Knox Boat Fishing Club Inc. (“KBFC”)

1. I declare that as a condition of my entry and the entry of any minor of whom I am guardian (“minor”) as a participant in the Knox Boat Fishing Club Inc. Bermagui Game Fishing Event (“Event”) I have read the rules and conditions for the event and understand the inherent risks in competing in the Event.
2. I acknowledge that the Event is a sporting activity and that participating in the Event is a dangerous activity which involves a significant degree of personal exertion and physical risk and if I and the minor participate in the Event I/we are exposed to the risks specified in Clause 3.
3. I acknowledge and understand that whilst participating in the Event I or the minor may be injured, physically or mentally, or may die from various causes including, but not limited to; death, drowning, accidents with other participants, or accidents caused by my/the minors actions, my/the minors personal property may be lost or damaged, I/the minor may cause injury to other persons or damage their property, the conditions in which the Event is conducted may vary without warning, there may be no or inadequate facilities for treatment or transport of me/the minor if I/the minor is injured and notwithstanding those risks I assume the risk and responsibility for any such injury, death or property damage resulting from my/the minors participation in the Event.

In consideration of me and the minor entering the Event and except where provided or required by law and as such cannot be excluded I HERBY RELEASE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE Knox Boat Fishing Club Inc. (“KBFC”) their officers, event stewards, volunteers, agents and sponsors , from any and all claims, suits, demands, expenses, costs, actions and proceedings of any nature whatsoever, which I, my executors or administrators or any other person has or might assert against any of them arising from, in relation to, incidental to or by virtue of any injury, loss or damage suffered or sustained by me or a minor in connection with my/our participation in the Event or at any time when I or a minor is near the Event.
I HEREBY INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS, and shall keep indemnified and held harmless, the organizers Knox Boat Fishing Club Inc., its officers, event stewards, agents, contractors and sponsors from and against all claims, suits, demands, expenses, costs, actions and proceedings of any nature whatsoever arising from, in relation to or by virtue of.

a)       Any injury, loss or damage sustained by me or the minor;

b)      Any injury, loss or damage suffered by any other person including any crew on my vessel as a result or any act, omission, neglect or default on my or the minors part or, in connection with my and the minors participation in the Event.

and is given as a risk warning in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Liability Amendment (Personal Responsibility) Act 2002 NSW and Section 50 of the Wrongs Act 1958 (Vic). A Game Fishing Event on ocean waters is considered to be a potentially dangerous recreational activity that involves a significant risk of physical harm or loss of life.
